Well today is another snow day! I would be working out or something right now but unfortunately I have a German presentation and a book project to start... and they're due tomorrow. I am so good at procrastinating. Not to mention the fact that BYU is turning into a time suck because I have to organize my thoughts for room selections next week. Uuugugghghhh I hate being a freshman. But heck, I'm so pumped I got admitted! I'll be visiting the campus in April so y'all can expect to see some pictures of Utah mountain landscapes within the next month.
Life's been pretty busy. I got into my school's talent show so I have to practice my violin piece a ton in these next couple weeks. I'm playing Crystallize by Lindsey Stirling! Maybe my dad will take pictures of me or something. haha
Lately I've been doing a ton of digital art because of my graphic design class. Seems like this year my teacher doesn't want to do a lot of actual design. Hey, it's good practice for me! I'm considering making my sketch of Claude Sterling a digital painting, just for the heck of it. I still can't believe how many views it gets!
I better get to work. Self-discipline is so difficult.

Well. I've been pretty darn inactive on DA lately...... School's been keeping me busy. And applying to college sucks. D: Thankfully I'll be done with it by the end of next week.
Am I seriously that old already....!!!!
SO. I recently downloaded the trial version of Corel Painter and I have to say, it's pretty awesome. I didn't realize how freaking awful Photoshop was for painting until I started using Corel. I'll buy the full version for myself as a... Thanksgiving present. Or something.
Speaking of presents! Or maybe just guitarded
I'm taking graphic design again this year since it's very likely going to be my major in college. Getting bigger in the world.... No big deal, right? In the meantime, I'll do my best to improve my mediocre high school student skills. Yey!
I've got a pretty beast piece of artwork in progress at the moment. No details yet (I enjoy surprises.), but if all goes well I'll be quite proud of myself. ^__^

All right, chilling out is fun but I feel like I've been wasting my Saturday on the computer... which I have. And unfortunately I haven't been in a very artistic mood lately, except for the usual cartoony doodles. Lack of inspiration perhaps?
My graphic design teacher is finally coming back on Monday. This means I'll get some real work done for the first time since last year. Oh boy! I do have some work from that class to put up but I forgot to get it on my flash drive... Blehhh.
Oh, speaking of work, I have TONS of prints from my photography class. SO MANY. I cranked out at least 15 in one day. I've used a Canon Rebel K2 and a Pentax, both on black and white film. Developing film sucks but I like what I've got so far. The only problem is getting around to scanning them..... Gotta love being lazy.
Nothing new is going on, really. Ice skating lessons on Saturday mornings, working out 4-5 days a week, studying for my permit test (I haven't even filled out an application yet.. grr), looking at prom dresses, school... Oh yeah, and partying on the weekends. Which I'm doing tonight. Except I don't go out and come home drunk. It's not on my list of things to do.
I don't know why I bothered to write this because nobody reads journals anyway. Unless they're super-interesting... hahaha
But for those of you who like to creep, I hope you enjoyed yourself.

Alright, I finally started school. It's not so bad... until I start getting homework. Ugh. But my teachers are cool and my history teacher is a sass so I think this year will be interesting. Freshmen are annoying as ever. hahah
I keep saying I'm gonna put up some sketches, so when I went to scan them last night I realized none of them are finished.................... Fail D: Although I'm starting one of Alex Pettyfer (heeehee ♥♥♥) and that's gonna be done in no time.
I'm in graphic design 2 honors this year, which means we'll be starting some pretty cool projects that might be of interest to some of you. I'll keep this thing updated as much as possible. Even though nobody's gonna read it anyway... and that's perfectly fine!
Other than that, nothing epic is going on. I'm going to the beach today for probably the last time this year... D: How tragic. Make way for fall.
